Reeporter AI Review (2026): Free Plan Tested on My Product
In this Reeporter AI review, I test a video tool that says it can turn your product photos, links or ideas into short video ads using some of the best-known AI video models. I sell kitchen products on Amazon UK and eBay, so I signed up for the Reeporter free plan and tested it on one of my own products: a glass cup brush that sticks to the sink.
Short answer: the free plan is now too small to make a video on its own, but the video Reeporter made from my photos was the most accurate AI ad I have had for this product so far. Here is exactly what happened, what it cost in credits, and who should pay for it.
Disclosure: after I reported a problem with the free plan, Reeporter’s team added 20 free credits to my account. I used those credits for the video test below. Reeporter has not seen this review, and I am not paid for it. Some links on this site are affiliate links.
Reeporter free plan: quick answer
- What you get now: 2 credits when you sign up, no card needed. You can get 10 more by following Reeporter on Instagram and commenting “link” on a post.
- What a video costs: my 10-second product ad cost 15 credits, so even 12 free credits are not enough for one video.
- Out-of-date offer: the pricing page still says “1 free video per month”, but Reeporter told me this was stopped in October 2026 because of bots.
- Cheapest way to pay: the Video Pack at $14.90, one-off, with 150 credits (about 10 short videos). No subscription.
- Best for: sellers who want realistic short product ads and do not want to pay for several AI tools.

What is Reeporter AI?
Reeporter is an AI video studio. You describe the video you want, add product photos or a link, and it writes and generates the clip. It also has an image tool, a “Clone” tool, a full video editor (Studio), and an Autopilot feature on paid plans that creates and publishes videos to your social accounts for you.
Its main selling point is choice of models. In my account, the model list included Kling V3, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, Runway Gen4 Turbo, MiniMax H3, Wan 3.0, Grok Imagine 1.5 and Gemini Omni Flash, 14 options in total. You can pick one yourself or choose “Let AI Select”.
What happened when I signed up
When I first opened my plan page, it said I had used 6 of my 8 credits, even though I had not made anything. Then, when I set up a video and clicked the “Generate (Free)” button, Reeporter asked me to buy credits instead.

I emailed Reeporter on a Saturday afternoon. The founder replied in about 40 minutes, and a full answer came the same evening. They explained:
- The “1 free video per month” offer was stopped about a week earlier because of bot abuse, but the pricing page and button had not been updated.
- The “6 of 8 credits used” message was a display bug. Nothing had been taken from my account.
- The free plan now gives 2 credits at sign-up, plus 10 more through their Instagram offer. There was also a temporary free-trial page running at the time.
That was honest, fast support, which is not something I can say about every tool I have tested. But until the pricing page is fixed, do not sign up expecting a free monthly video.
How I did this Reeporter AI review
I used the same product as in my Creatify vs Colossyan test and my PixVerse review, so the results are easy to compare.
- I chose Sell a product, which opens the “Short Product Ad” template.
- I uploaded 4 photos of my glass cup brush: in the sink with my hand, next to glasses, a close-up of the bristles and a plain product shot.
- I wrote a short prompt describing the ad: a dirty glass pushed down over the brush, close-ups of the bristles and suction base, a mug, and a row of clean glasses at the end.
- I kept the default settings: 9:16 vertical, 720p, audio on, duration “Auto” and model “Let AI Select”.
Before generating, Reeporter showed an estimate: about 10 seconds, 15 credits. I like that: you know the cost before you spend it, which Clico and some other tools do not show.

The result: my 10-second product ad
The video was ready in about 2 to 3 minutes. Reeporter chose the Gemini Omni Flash model. This is the part of my Reeporter AI review that surprised me most.
What I liked:
- It looked like my real product. The twin brushes, grey base and black suction cups all matched. Many AI tools turn a product into something “similar”; this one did not.
- It followed my prompt. The dirty glass, the hand pushing it over the brush, the close-ups, the mug and the clean glasses at the end were all there, in that order.
- Natural movement. The hands and glass looked realistic in the frames I checked, with no extra fingers or melting glass.
- Sound was included and suited the ad.
- No watermark on my download, even though the free plan lists one. This may be because of the credits I was given, so do not rely on it.
What was missing: it did not add the on-screen text I asked for (“Clean glasses in seconds”), and the clip itself was 720p.
Adding text in the Reeporter editor
The fix was easy. The Edit button opens Reeporter Studio, a simple timeline editor with text, captions, media, transitions and audio tracks. I clicked Text, typed “Clean glasses in seconds”, made it bigger and moved it to the top of the video.
Then I clicked Export MP4. The exported file was 1080 x 1920 (full HD vertical), still with no watermark, and it did not use any credits. My balance stayed the same.
From 4 photos to a finished vertical ad with text took me about 30 minutes, including working out the editor.
Reeporter pricing (October 2026)
| Plan | Price | Credits | About how many 10-second videos? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, no card | 2 at sign-up (+10 via Instagram) | 0 |
| Video Pack | $14.90 one-off | 150 (valid 3 months) | 10 |
| Creator | $19 a month | 150 a month | 10 |
| Growth | $49 a month | 450 a month | 30 |
| Accelerate | $149 a month | 900 a month | 60 |
| Impact | $349 a month | 2,000 a month | 133 |
Video estimates are based on my test (15 credits for 10 seconds). Longer videos or premium models may cost more. Paid plans include Autopilot, which can plan and publish videos to your social accounts. The yearly discount was shown as 17% in my account but “save 20%” on the website, and the Video Pack was on the pricing page but not on the in-app upgrade page. Check Reeporter’s pricing page before you pay.
For small sellers, the Video Pack is the interesting option: about $1.49 per 10-second video, with no subscription to cancel.
Reeporter AI review: pros and cons
Pros
- The most accurate AI product video I have made for my glass cup brush.
- 14 AI video models in one account, including Kling, Veo and Runway.
- Shows the credit cost before you generate.
- Built-in editor for text and captions, with free full HD export.
- A one-off Video Pack, so no subscription is needed.
- Fast, honest support when something went wrong.
Cons
- The free plan is too small for even one video.
- The pricing page still advertised “1 free video per month” when I tested.
- A display bug showed credits as used when they were not.
- It ignored the on-screen text in my prompt.
- Monthly plans jump quickly from $19 to $49.
Who should use Reeporter AI? (review summary)
Try it if you sell physical products and want short, realistic video ads for TikTok, Reels, Shorts or Amazon, and you are happy to pay a small amount. Buy the $14.90 Video Pack, make 5 to 10 videos, and see if they sell.
Consider a monthly plan if you post videos every week and want Autopilot to publish them for you.
Look elsewhere if you want to make videos completely free. In my tests, PixVerse was still the best free option, with watermarked clips. See my full guide to the best AI video tools for online sellers.
FAQs
Is Reeporter AI free?
There is a free plan, but in October 2026 it gave only 2 credits at sign-up, plus 10 more through an Instagram offer. A 10-second video cost 15 credits in my test, so you need to buy credits to make a video.
Does Reeporter still give 1 free video a month?
No. Reeporter told me this offer was stopped in October 2026 because of bot abuse, even though it still appeared on the pricing page when I tested.
How much does a Reeporter video cost?
My 10-second product ad cost 15 credits. With the $14.90 Video Pack (150 credits), that works out at about $1.49 per video.
Does Reeporter add a watermark?
The free plan lists a watermark, but my downloads had none. I was using credits Reeporter had added to my account, so results may differ on a brand-new free account.
Can I add text to Reeporter videos?
Yes. The built-in Studio editor lets you add text and captions, and exporting the edited MP4 did not use any credits in my test.
Reeporter AI review: my verdict
Reeporter’s free plan is not really a free plan any more: it is a small taster that cannot make a video on its own. But the tool itself impressed me. From 4 photos of my glass cup brush, it made a realistic 10-second ad that looked like my real product, and the editor turned it into a finished full HD ad with text at no extra cost.
To sum up my Reeporter AI review: for small sellers, I would skip the subscriptions at first and try the one-off $14.90 Video Pack. If your videos look as good as mine and help you sell, upgrade later.
